AMEREX GROUP INC. PROMOTES DAVID MELTZER TO GROUP VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES New York, NY (July 1, 2004) - Amerex Group Inc., one of the largest private U.S.-based manufacturers of outerwear for men, women and children, today announced that David Meltzer has been promoted to Group Vice President, Sales Men's and Ladies. In his new role, Meltzer will be responsible for leading sales growth for all of Amerex's men's and ladies' brands in the moderate and better divisions. Meltzer will report to Renee McGovern, President of Amerex Men's and Ladies Group. Meltzer began his career at Amerex Group in 1999, serving as National Sales Manager before being promoted to Vice President, Sales, Fashion Group in November 2001. During his tenure as Vice President of Sales, Meltzer oversaw the launches of Amerex Group's 1 Madison men's and ladies' outerwear collections as well as Alpine Studio's accessory line. "I am delighted to have David spearhead our key initiatives in our men's and ladies' divisions," said Amerex Group Inc.'s CEO, Glenn Palmer. Prior to joining Amerex Group, Meltzer spent eight years with Macy's East initially as a buyer and then as a senior merchandise manager.
